The rest of the hours - minimum 30 - can be obtained from a psychotherapist who is registered as a supervisor with another association approved by YAHAT (for example: Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, etc.). Client contact hours and supervision hours will be calculated as of the end of graduation from the approved training program, and need to be documented and presented to the Membership and Registration committee together with the application form. Upon verification of all documentation, the member will receive permission to write a Case Study in triplicate, which will be read and evaluated by three Registered Supervisors in the applicant’s field of practice. Upon approval, the member will attain Registered Member status, which permits him/her to operate a private practice.

In order to receive the permission the member has to accumulate at least 2000 therapy work hours at a Registered member level, as well as at least 200 clinical supervision hours of at least one hour per week.
