Hi, my name is Tim Anders, and I am a psychodynamic Art Therapist, with a master’s in art therapy. 

Since receiving my masters in 2011, I have worked for a variety of charities and elementary and high schools, predominantly with boys, teenagers, and men.

I currently work part time in a boy’s high school in Bet Shemesh, working with teenagers diagnosed with a variety of conditions including ASD & ADHD.

Prior to making Aliyah in 2021 I worked at a special needs school in the UK, with teenage boys with a wide range of conditions including ASD, ODD, psychosis and bipolar disorder. In addition to this I worked for many years as an art therapist for Chai cancer care providing bereavement counselling to children whose parents were affected by cancer. 

I have also worked at many mainstream schools with children experiencing a diverse range of challenges including parental divorce, addictions, anxiety and violent behaviour. 

Since 2011 I have worked with many people who have not been able to access conventional talking therapies, and tailor each session according to the person I am working with and their preferences. Some clients like to just talk whilst others like to work with clay or paint.
